What we check
We inspect the boiler, flue and key components, test the combustion with a flue gas analyser, check for leaks and look at the pressure and controls. We clean what needs cleaning and tell you plainly if anything needs attention.
Why it matters
Gas appliances that aren't looked after can produce carbon monoxide, waste fuel or stop working when you need heat most. Most manufacturers also expect an annual service to keep the warranty valid.
How often
Once a year. Many people book in late summer or autumn, before the heating goes on for the season.

Do I need to be in?
Yes. We need access to the boiler and an adult present for the visit.
How long does it take?
Most boiler services are done within about an hour, depending on the boiler and its location.
What if you find a fault?
We explain what we found and what it would take to fix. Nothing is done without your agreement.
